The Huz has gone to London to hang with his family and friends. I do get him 11 months of the year so I mustn't complain. And he always leaves something behind...
I can't wait to see the drawing of you sprawled out in the middle of the bed! I know you're lonely, but every once in a while, you need to enjoy laying in the middle of the bed! *hugs* to you!
{{{Hugs}}} You know from being a soldier married to a soldier for so long the one upside to the pain of separation is that its a super clear reminder how deeply you love your partner. The flip to hurting that bad is loving that much.
Sending the warmth of friendship to keep you company while you travel through the next month.
Oh, so sad and lonely. But great art as always.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to express yourself. Sleep in the middle of the bed and take up all the room. So sweet you are.
ReplyDeleteThanks friends. I may map my progress over the next five weeks with a series of these. It'll help me get through it I think - here's to art therapy!

ReplyDeleteAwww. I know the feeling. Sometimes even a twin bed can feel too big if I'm the one who's out of town. :( You captured it perfectly. :)
ReplyDeleteOh. As a Navy wife, I know how big and empty the bed grows when the one you love is away. :(
ReplyDeleteAwww... So sorry. :-( The good news is when you see him there will be sooooo much to say. ;-)
ReplyDeletePerfect examply of the "Persephone and Hades"syndrome. Except for the fact that the roles are reversed in this case haha :P
ReplyDeleteAww :( its hard when something you are so used to changes, even if you know its only for a short while
ReplyDelete((hugs))

It's hardest at the beginning and at the very end, huh? Drag one of the kids to bed with you!
ReplyDeleteAwwwh! I would be thrilled if my hubby left for a month. lol.
ReplyDeleteBig big hugs.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a restful sleep and sweet dreams.
And if you need company, my dog holyflyingpiranha is awfully cuddly....
Kim - you're right....I'm gonna do the sprawl tonight.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous - I admit the Persephone/Hades thing did occur to me. I like the analogy anyway!
Reba - You're so right. And we're the lucky ones to have found it.
