I liked the first one, this one, though, was inspired. Why turn PBS into a political tool of either side? It does good, leave it alone. When things bring goodness and happiness into the world, don't mess with them.
I agree with you. Programming like Sesame Street, for example, is a huge investment in the future. The critical thinkers of today (us) were the Sesame Streeters of yesterday. I generalize a little, but still...!
I loved Sesame Street as a kid! Why would anybody want to cut off its funding??? He can't find somebody his own size to pick on? I'm sure if he tried he could find something else to get rid of.
