9:27 PM - watching the swing states tally...
10:40 PM - it's sooooo close. Neck and neck in Florida amid reports of voter suppression.
11:15 PM - Dare to hope...for a better future?
The suspense is busting my butt!
11:22 PM - And then... I fell off my chair. Obama won!
To all of you who voted - WELL DONE.
Anybody else feel like this?
YES, but I live in the US LOL. This one is surely a nail biter.
ReplyDeleteThe last of my nails went with Sandy. I'm down to the knuckles.
DeleteBeing a numbers geek, I keep going over to 270towin.com to play out different scenarios with the battleground states.
ReplyDeleteYou're a geek's geek Jason. +1
DeleteI had to get a massage and a cupcake to calm the fuck down.
ReplyDeleteVery good plan. That's what I need...a cupcake and a foot rub.
DeleteI though 2008 was stressful; this is way worse. And I'm in Canada.
Yeah, trying to be calm but I'm nervous. MN has a Marriage Equality ban as well I can't understand that I REALLY hope fails =/
ReplyDeleteYES!! I'm planning on staying up for the results, but if I pass out, tomorrow will feel like Christmas morning. "What'd we get??"
ReplyDeleteSo....did you get what you wanted?
DeleteI'm going to vomit. I know it's still early and the West Coast (Democratic w/lots of electoral college votes) is still open, but the map on HuffPo which shows Romney currently in the lead is making me all pukey.
ReplyDeleteThose early numbers were unsettling, even though they were not battleground states. But Obama left Romney in the dust.
DeleteNot much point in stressing...There's nothing but talking heads wasting oxygen for several more hours. That's not stopping me from watching the coverage!
ReplyDeleteDid you see Diane Sawyer?
DeleteI know how you feel! I'm celebrating with wine!
ReplyDeleteCuba Libre's over here!
Deleteand over here in the UK i woke up and listened to the radio and said to my friend in the car....well that was predictable wasnt it.....maybe the distance gives perspective :)
ReplyDeleteMaybe...also I think the media prolly hyped this a little more "neck and neck" than it actually was. Which worked in Obama's favour I think.
